The Statler Brothers were honored repeatedly by the Country Music Association and built a catalog filled with faith, humor, nostalgia, and small-town truth. Their songs did not feel distant or polished beyond recognition. Their songs felt like stories overheard at a kitchen table, in a church hallway, or on a front porch after supper.
